Skin care in the Siddha tradition begins in the kitchen and the garden: leaf and flower powders, clays, rose water and herbal soaps used as part of a simple daily routine. This collection brings together the AVM Herbals preparations for face, body and bath.
Powders include neem leaf (Veppilai), Indian acalypha (Kuppaimeni), rose petal (Roja Ithazh), orange peel, wild turmeric (Kasthuri Manjal) and Multani Mitti, fuller’s earth. Two proprietary Vasigara herbal soaps, one with Kuppaimeni and one with aloe vera, sit alongside Panneer, a pure rose water. For something to eat rather than apply, Roja Gulkand is a traditional rose petal preserve.
Ingredients, directions for use and pack sizes are on every product page, and the licence line shows whether a preparation is made as a Siddha product or as a food. See Hair and Skin for the wider range, Hair Care for oils and washes, or the key botanicals for Tamil, common and botanical names.
