Metabolic Balance

Siddha tradition pays close attention to the body’s metabolism, the work of the digestive fire (Azhal), and to the food habits that keep it steady. This small collection brings together two herbs that Tamil households have long kept as part of everyday dietary routines, traditionally used to support metabolic balance as part of a balanced diet.

Sirukurinjan Powder is made from gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre), a climbing herb with a long place in Siddha practice. Naaval Kottai Podi is made from jamun seed (Syzygium cumini), the seed of the purple jamun fruit. Both are prepared in small batches in Coimbatore for AVM Herbals.

Check the product page for available ingredient, direction and pack-size details; follow the exact pack label. For other everyday staples see Daily Wellness, or read the Wellness Guide to see how the range is grouped by the three humours.

This is traditional-use information only. These herbs are not a substitute for medical care, and anyone managing a health condition, pregnant, nursing or taking prescribed medication should speak to a qualified practitioner before starting any herbal product.
