Dry ginger — the warming root that wakes a tired digestion.
Why it matters
Sukku (dry ginger) is the warming root of every Siddha digestive remedy. Taken with warm water or honey, it is traditionally used to support digestion, the relief of gas, appetite and a clear voice — the kitchen-fire warmth the tradition reaches for first.
What's inside
Zingiber officinale (dried).
How to use
Mix ½–1 teaspoon (2–5 g) in warm water, honey or buttermilk once or twice daily, preferably before food — or as directed by a Siddha physician.
