Nellikkai (amla) stands above nearly every herb in the Siddha tradition. Taken as directed, it is traditionally used to support blood vitality, respiratory and urinary wellness, eye health, pitta balance and the nourishment of skin and hair — the fruit the Siddhars trusted with almost everything.

How to use

Mix ½–1 teaspoon (2–5 g) in warm water, honey or buttermilk once or twice daily, preferably before food — or as directed by a Siddha physician.
