Nannari (Indian sarsaparilla) is the fragrant root that cools the Tamil hot season. Taken as a cooling drink, it is traditionally used to support pitta cooling, urinary health and the soothing of body heat — summer's classical refreshment.

How to use

Mix ½–1 teaspoon (2–5 g) in warm water, honey or buttermilk once or twice daily, preferably before food — or as directed by a Siddha physician.
